So freakin’ envious!

Two mall evenings ago, I bumped into this former college blockmate of mine and my, she lost a LOT of weight. Her frame before was two sizes bigger than mine, and now she's more petite than I am! Darn!

But then, instead of painting myself green with envy, I should see her as my inspiration to keep fit. But man! Can't help but hate her. Haha

Well yesterday, my SSS ID was finally mailed to my apartment. Heck, I applied for it December 29! Last year! And it's March 20th! Funk SSS!!

Well at least they still processed it. Better have it late than never.

Yay K800i

I finally have my K800i =) I bought the brown one coz the black one is more expensive. I actually don't get it but heck, the brown one will do. It is my first Ericsson phone, so I need more time in getting used to the keys and stuff. But so far, I'm glad I bought the unit.

The one thing I'm bummed about is that its phone features shut down (except for alarms and alerts) when it is under USB connection. Other than that, I'm quite pleased with it.

My Nokia 6260 lasted almost three years in my company, so I think my K800i would last prolly five years. It has everything I needed in a phone that I guess it would take a while for me to switch handsets. I just want a killer camera phone, and with its 3.2 megapixel camera, K800i is the answer.

Another great news is that I now have an after photo of my room. Or, err, just a portion. Hehe!

Hurrah! to Marquez XD

I'm sorry, but I shall post a Tagalog entry for this one. Can't relay my emotions much in English on the Barrera-Marquez fight aired yesterday. Hehehe!

I watched Imbestigador last Saturday, and its last report was about this person named Alex who poses as an international producer/director, then he invites aspiring actors for an "audition" in his house. Well, you know it's a scam from that point. Anyway, the Imbestigador team used an asset to audition for Alex' upcoming "film" to gather evidence/s enough to arrest him. The following day, the police raided his house and, of course, arrested him.

They invited him to the police station and checked his cellphone. They were able to retrieve photos of naked men in his camera and included them as evidence. What troubled me, though, is that the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) used this some sort of technology where YOU CAN RETRIEVE ALL YOUR DELETED PHOTOS/VIDEOS FROM YOUR CAMERA PHONE. So they found out that Alex does not only do "photoshoots" with the applicants, he also does "performances" with them.

So I was thinking: You really can't afford to lose your good 'ol camera phone, eh? Most of the applications nowadays have pirated copies that you can just upload to your PC, then that's it. I dunno, but anyone — maybe not today, but someday — can have access to that and retrieve photos/videos from someone's stolen (or not) camera phone and post them on the Net just because.

Gee, privacy is really a major issue in this Web 2.0 generation.

The weekend that I have long been waiting for

Pft. Didn't like the digis in Raon at all. The highest is 2MP for 512MB, at 3300 PhP. And I can't find the second-hand Olympus digis there. I guess they're already sold out. Tsk. So I'll settle with K800i. Gotta buy one later in the afternoon.
