I just listened to another Hinder song (besides "Lips of an Angel") on AOL radio and realized their music resembles Nickelback's, only tolerable. Nick's better on ballads than on hardcore rock.

Anyway, here are my favorite music stations on AOL:

• All Metallica (of course)
• Xtreme Alt Rock (my favorite — it rolled Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Disturbed, P.O.D. and Static X for an Xtremely cool listening experience)
• Hair Metal (because they cover Def Leppard)

L is for Elephant

My eight-year-old cousin once blurted:

"Ate, may crush na ko."
"Sino?"
"Hmm… Hulaan mo. Siya si R.E."

After a few seconds of thinking of anyone we know in common with R.E. initials, I finally gave up.

"Sino na nga?"
"Si Aaron Ilbese."

Wow! R.E. nga!

I’m not a fan of candies

I was seven when I experienced something that made me swear not to eat candies ever again. Almost.

Every New Year's Day, my mom has this thing of buying lots of candies and stuff them on transparent jars and display them on the center table of our living room. That day, I got excited and took one candy from each jar and stuffed all of the candies in my mouth. Then this candy — Butter Toffee, does it still exist? the brown version of White Rabbit  — slipped down my throat and choked me almost to death. I swear, it was my first near-death experience! My mom was quick and did the Heimlich thingie. I threw (up) off all the candies and it was our most disgusting New Year's Day as far as I know.

So there. That explains my distance from candies — except the chewy ones. I <3 Mentos Xtrim Mint, though it's not extremely minty as it claims it is.

My friend/officemate introduced me to his site hosted here and I fell in love with it instantly.
